It was all that I ever wanted to be! From childhood I knew that I wanted to be a firefighter. The very thought of riding down the road in a big red fire truck, making a lot of noise, and coming to the rescue of others felt like the perfect world to me as a kid. Ultimately, as I got older, I began volunteering as a firefighter, then moved on to working as a firefighter full-time in a large city fire department. During all of this, that perfect world came true. My inspiration for this brand is at the heart of all of the turmoil, disappointment, sadness, and tough times that a firefighter encounters in their career, it still pays to be a Happy Jake! Although we are often distracted by the difficulties of the job, it is still the greatest calling in the world! Whether volunteering, or working as a paid firefighter, we get to do something that embodies the passion of life. From one firefighter to another, I hope you enjoy some of the items on the website.
